After the successful experience of Valencia Triathlon, a new initiative emerged, which aims to take this same organizational model to other cities in the Mediterranean Sea area with the name of : Mediterranea Triathlon, which in its launch year was formed by the Valencia Triathlon and Alicante Triathlon, with a very good welcome from athletes.

The aim of the Mediterranean Triathlon is to promote the sport through the organization of quality events, where a wide variety of participants are welcome. Furthermore, one of the objectives of this project is to promote sports tourism and generate an important tourist impact in the area. The circuits of these sport events will take place through the most emblematic places of the host cities.

• Swim in Postiguet Beach
• Cycling a route with a certain requirement and spectacular views of Alicante’s Bay
• Run through the city’s seafront with it’s finish line in the area of the Sports Marine.
